Youth Program
Camp, VBS, Bi-monthly youth
meetings.
Seniors Program
"Homeward Bound"
Here we see our more
matured Saints enjoying fellowship with each other while still
feeling a vital part of the Family of God. Regular monthly
Fellowships are planned as a means of encouraging and enjoying
one another’s company being built up in the Faith of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. Other activities including field trips
and guest speakers are planned on a regular basis.
Ladies Program
Men's Program
The men of our congregation try
and spend quality time with each other. This includes a monthly
men’s breakfast and also a special time for a Men’s Bible class.
We are continually encouraging our young men to step up into
leadership positions.
Inspirational Worship
Our worship centers upon the
ultimate sacrifice of Jesus being the Lamb of God who died for
our sins (John 1:29). It is with great thanks and “awe” that we
come together in the presence of God. In our singing, our
teaching, our praying, and even our whole being we try to
demonstrate our love for our God and Creator (Colossians
3:16-17). We come together to Praise God and challenge one
another with the Word of God. We are trying to please God in our
own lives while at the same time we are to be God’s ambassadors
in this world (2 Corinthians 5:20). As we worship in Spirit and
Truth we try to exhibit this attitude. Visitors are always
welcome.
Helping Hands
Jesus said as we serve others,
even the “least” of these my brethren we are serving Him
(Matthew 25:40). As God has blessed us we try to become good
stewards by helping those in need. We actively support those in our community and those
abroad. This is done on a regular basis.
S.H.A.R.E
Groups (Small Groups) Throughout
the month we try to find time to meet together in one another’s
homes. This is for the purpose of Sharing our concerns/burdens;
Praying for one another; Having Fellowship with one another and
reaching out to those that need the saving Grace of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. This is often times an informal meeting
time as we our spiritually uplifted in a smaller group setting.
Bible Classes
Our goal is to provide a Bible
education program for all ages. We solicit teachers who are
capable of teaching the Word of God in a way that those students
that hear will be able to understand and apply the Word of God
on a personal basis. We are very aware that what we teach is
what God would want us teaching. Therefore our Guide in teaching
is the Bible.
Welcoming Committee
From your first step in the door,
it is our goal that you are treated with the love of our Lord,
Jesus Christ. First time visitors are encouraged to receive a
special gift of thanks for being special guests. We also are
there to answer any questions that you may have and to help you
feel comfortable especially if this is your first visit. We also
try to express our thanks to our guests by sending a note in the
mail thanking them for being with us.
Evangelism
As disciples of Christ it is our
desire to help fulfill the “Great Commission” as outlined by
Jesus Himself (Mark 16:15-16). We are constantly trying to be
aware of those in our community that want a part of the Good
News of Jesus Christ. We do this on a personal basis as well as
have Gospel Meetings and other events to encourage others to
obey the Gospel of Christ. We have classes that will be meeting
twice a month on Sunday afternoons to learn “How” to teach
someone and then putting into practice what we’ve learned by
going to those in the community. This is done in a spirit of
love by the mercies of God.
